Are there I2C commands that can be sent to the TPS2257Q1EVM that can disable/enable the VBUS output to the UUT? Is there any software documentation for writing/reading registers that I assume the GUI is simulating? Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
Can you help to let us know what application are you using TPS2257Q1 for? Because we are curious why need to Disable/Enable VBUS through I2C command. Thanks.

I am looking into automating power switching between various power sources. In order to simulate a hard disconnect, if there is an I2C command that disables the output/enables it, it would help with automating power source switching. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi Kevin,
For automotive PD devices, our firmware was developed to run by itself without requirement for an external microcontroller to manage PD functions. This is different from our catalog/consumer PD controllers where notebook customers always have another MCU for this purpose. So cannot through i2c to do this.
You can use the Enable Pin to disable/Enable the device.
Thanks
