I've seen other forum posts that indicate the DP83826 supports backplane ethernet without magnetics with its voltage mode drivers. Is this true and has this been tested for both BASE10 and BASE100 applications? Are auto-negotiation and audo-MDIX also supported, or do they need to be disabled with speeds manually configured?
