DS90UH949-Q1: Question for DS90UH949 SPI port configuration

Hi Team,

Our customer wants to check if we can use only 3 wires SPI port for DS90UH949(MOSI, SPLK, SS), and using MISO as GPIO function as below picture showing. Can you help to check it?

    Hi Jacky, 

    The modes for those multifunction pins are programmed through the Deserializer Capabilities 2 register (0x21). As per the attached image, the High-Speed Control Channel can only set all the pins in either SPI mode or GPIO mode, it is not possible to split up the pins to have one as GPIO and the rest as SPI.
