Hi,

I am trying to use the ibis/AMI model provided using another EDA tool rather than ADS.

I use CST schematic tool. When I import in CST, I dont get an ibis block with 2 input and output.
Shall I use two blocks separately?

If yes what shall I put as ctrl and enable?

Hi Mohammad,

IBIS AMI model only shows the device performance when the redriver is already active there is not need for CTRL and enable.

Thanks for your response. So I need to leave them open. shall I use two blocks as shown in the photo to represent one device?

I can see that in the ADS implementation it is not the case.

Hi,

In ADS there is a symbol for redriver AMI components that handles passing the input at the RX pins to the output at the TX pins. In ADS the model is considered on device. In you software you will need to run to separate simulations, one of input and one for output.
