Hi,

I am evaluating a TFP410MEP DVI/HDMI transmitter.

Most functions seem to be OK. I2C is working RGB data is recognized correctly (H_RES and V_RES registers are correct).

Confusingly I can measure the pixelclock on DVI side on pins 30 and 31.. I had expected the clock output on TXC+/- pins or pins 22/21.

According to datasheet pins 30/31 are TX2+/-.

Is there a version with reverse DVI pinning? If yes, is there a datasheet for this version?

Is there anything else that could cause this problem?

Hi David,

I finally solved the issue:

The TFP410 is indeed having an undocumented output-channel swapping function though its NC pin, which was inadvertently selected by our evaluation setup.
