TCAN1042-Q1: Duration of the low-level pulse on the rx pin

Part Number: TCAN1042-Q1

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know the duration of the low-level pulse on the rx pin of TCAN1042-Q1. According to our customer,

In the datasheet, there is a timing I cannot find. When the chip recognize a wake-up pattern on the line, a low-level pulse on the rx pin is sent. I would like to catch this pulse but not react to normal transmission on RX line.

How long is this pulse. I attached the datasheet section that show this pulse.

Regards,

Danilo

  • Danilo,

The pulse the customer is referring to is the dominant on the RXD line after the device responds to the wake-up pulse. The RXD dominant pulse is totally dependent on how long the CAN bus is held dominant. There's no specific timing for the RXD low pulse.

    Regards,
