Hi Team,

There is a good new that we could DIN TI product!

Currently new project have USB POWER application, for 2.1A & 3A.

Because the SOC selected by the customer has built-in BC1.2,

1.Is it possible to bypass DP or have a suggested connection method?

2. Or other more suitable solution?

3.Or If we could disable TPS25833-Q1's BC1.2? then we can just use SOC's BC1.2

Hi Kygo,

In my opinion, you can disable the SOC's BC1.2,or floating our device's DP&DM, then our device will become a type C port completely.

For applications like this , are there other possible peripheral circuit products that we can recommend to customers?

Hi Kygo,

In my opinion, if you just need the charge only, I think floating the SOC's DM&DP or disable SOC's BC1.2 is the best solution. Because if you floating our device's DM&DP, then our device will become a complete type C port, and can't support some BC1.2 charge protocol, such as Divider 3 or Samsung 1.2...

The SOC part number is SPHE8368-C!

And customer feedback SOC can close BC1.2 ,THX
