TPS65988: About the relationship between Dead Battery Flag and Charging.

Part Number: TPS65988

Please refer to attached figure.

First I connect a PD charger to VBUS1, and port2:source don’t output 5V 3A. The output works 5V 0.9A.

Next, When I execute DBfg(Dead Battery Flag Clear) of port2 by commands DBfg(Dead Battery Flag Clear) of F/W tool, the output of port2 switches output from 5V  0.9A to 5V 3A.

I have three questions.

(1)Why does not the TPS65988 output 5V 3A when Dead Battery Flag is set ?

(2)Why does the TPS65988 output 5V 3A when Dead Battery Flag is cleared ?

I tried doing DBfg command by F/W setting because the mass production cannot use I2C.

I succeeded in output 5V 3A.

But I concern that F/W setting is correct or not.

(3)Please tell me correct setting of DBfg command in F/W ?

    My setting is below.
