TUSB8043: We are observing the USB 3.0 connection detected in USB 2.0

1. We are using the TUSB8043 USB HUB controller in our USB 3.0 camera products

2.Four boards observed USB 2.0 connection instead of USB 2.0

3.And the issue was resoled after solder touch up on the pins around ,but as per X-ray reports the solder is fine .

Hi Senthil,

If solder touch up fixed the issue, the problem was likely opens which can be difficult to see on x-ray or the thermal pad had a poor connection.

Assuming that the solder level is find,what could be the other reason's .Please check the shared schematic and any changes needed..?

Do you have the series caps on the upstream port of the hub? Is the hub in SMBUSz mode or I2C mode?

After solder touch up, if the system working reliably at USB 3.0 speed?

Ans: Yes we placed the series caps
Is the hub in SMBUSz mode or I2C mode?
Ans: I2C mode
After solder touch up, if the system working reliably at USB 3.0 speed?
Ans: Yes working fine

I don't see anything in the schematic that would account for the reported issue other than an assembly issue that was fixed by retouch / reflow.
