    Hi Stanley,

    The AM26LV32CDR is p2p with the AM26LS32. I know of a couple of parts that are a bit newer technology that are also p2p with the AM26LS32. 

    SNx5LBC173A

    SN65LBC173A-EP

    The SN65LBC173A-EP for example reps built in failsafe technology for bus short-circuit, open-circuit, and idle-bus conditions, a faster signaling rate up to 50Mbps, ESD protection up to 6kV for RS485 pins HBM, and 2kV CDM on all pins, and low-standby power consumption <32uA.

    The only thing that is majorly different with these devices is the supply voltage. The AM26LV32 can operate off 3.3V supply accepting logic signals that are 5V. SN series of devices are all 5V devices.
