MAX3221E: V(ESD) Typo on Pins 8, 11, and 13?

I am comparing the data sheet for a MAX3221EIPWR to a MAX3221IPWR.

Can you confirm for me that there is a typo on page 4, and that V(ESD) Should read “Pins 8 and 13” not “Pins 8 and 11”?

Hello,

You are correct about this being a typo! The datasheet should read "pins 8 and 13," not "pins 8 and 11."

IEC ESD ratings only apply to the bus pins 8 and 13 which carry the RS232 signals.
