Hi team,
Could you please let me know the 10Base-T compliance test procedure for DP83826E?
I found the similar thread above for DP83822.
Is the procedure on the above thread applicable to DP83826E?
Regards,
Itoh

Itoh,
You may select the required pattern for test modes using register 0x27 (as described in datasheet)

Hi Vikram-san,
My customer just want to double check if the sequence on SNLA266 appendix for 10base-T is applicable to DP83826.
My customer checked the desired test can be done with the script on SLNA266.

Itoh
Hello,
Yes register configuration of SLNA266 can be used to force the PHY in required mode for the testing.

I am testing 10Base-T compliance test, DP83826E.
For the PHY setting procedure, refer to the following URL.
DP83826E: 10Base-T compliance test procedure - Interface forum - Interface - TI E2E support forums
10Base-T waveform has noise. look like 125MHz Frequency Nose. Please see Attachment.
There is a possibility of circuit noise.
However, I want to check if the PHY register setting is correct.
Please give me advice.
Best regards,
Niwa

Thank you for your response. Please tell me another point.
Why do you need this following?
4- enables analog loopback mode
Register: 0x0016
Value: 0x0108

Niwa
Hello Kenji,
I am not sure. One thing I can think of is that if some data patterns come out during the link-up state then loopback enabling is a way to force PHY to the link-up state.
