Hi team,
Due to TUSB8041 is shortage, so our customer would like to use TUSB8044A as 2nd source to replace it.
But there are some uncertain portion need BU's clarification.
After preliminary comparison, it is found that the names of Pin40, Pin42 and Pin45 are different.
I provide the pictures as shown in below for quicker understand.
(1). Both Pin40 and Pin42 are Pull down. Is it OK to change to TUSB8044A?
(2). Does USB 3.2 x1 Gen1 refer to USB3.1? Is this circuit also OK to USB 3.0? is it Backward compatible!
(3). What does the USB billboard do? due to TUSB8041 didn't have this feature, so will this feature impact customer's normal operation?
