DP83849I: pin configuration for unused channel

Hi Experts,

My customer is going to use DP83849. This PHY supports dual channel but they will used channel A only. How are pins for channel B configured? Below are table of unused pins.

・TX_EN_B
・TXD[3:0]_B
・RX_CLK_B
・RX_DV_B
・RX_ER_B
・RXD[3:0]_B
・CSR_B/CRS_DV_B
・COL_B
・LED_LINK_B
・LED_SPEED_B

・TPTDM_B
・TPTDP_B
・TPRDM_B
・TPRDP_B

Hello Uchikoshi,

Port A and Port B are independent ports. While only using port A, port B's pin can be left floating.

Hi Vikram,

Some of pins are input port. Does customer pull up these pins?

If there is a lot of switching noise expected on the board, then customers may put pull down of 10K ohms on these pins.
