DS90UB926Q-Q1: Question for DS90UB926 no video output issue

Hi Team,

Our customer is using DS90UB921+DS90UB926 for video transmission, but found there is no normal video signal output from DS90UB926 side. Do we have special I2C initialization and configuration for DS90UB926 to achieve normal video transmission?

    Hello,

    There should not be any initial I2C configuration done to the 926. This may be an issue relating to the way the 921 is configured, or perhaps a power up timing issue for the 926/921. Can you provide the configurations of the 921, as well as a register dump of the 921? Also, what is the initialization sequence of the system?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the reply, currently customer only used the default register setting with below hardware mode settings. Can you help to share with us for one example register configuration for UB921 if needed?

    Hi Jacky,

    Sure, is the customer trying to use the pattern generator, or video input from a SoC? Also, can you provide a register dump of the 921? Or read the value of register 0x0C (this is the register I am currently interested in)? This will show us if link is detected or if any errors have been detected.
