SN65DSI84: Register Configuration Question

Part Number: SN65DSI84

After we configured the SN65DSI84 register, the LCD screen showed, but the check value of E5 register is not 00, but 80. Could you help explain what 80 stands for?

Hi,

Can you write 0xFF to register 0xE5 to clear it and then see if it is still set to 0x80? The error status register 0xE5 can be set during power up. If you clear the register and error no longer is being reported, then it is not a real error.
