HD3SS3220: Disable Debug Accessory Mode

Hi Team,

My customer configure HD3SS3220 as DFP role. I would like to confirm with you if HD3SS3220 enable the debug accessory mode by default or not.

Is there any way to disable debug accessory mode?

    Hi Jim,

    HD3SS3220 supports debug accessories in  DFP mode by default. There is not way to disable debug accessory support mode in DFP mode. In DFP there is no toggle like in UFP mode to detect debug accessories. HD3SS3220 will monitor both the CC pins for Rdp/Rd combination to detect a debug accessory.
