AM26LV32E: Recommended Operating Junction Temperature Limit

Part Number: AM26LV32E

Hi,

Good day.

Our customer has this question regarding the AM26LV32EIPWR:

It has absolute max junction temperature of 150C and recommended operating ambient temperature of 85C. I need the recommended operating junction temperature limit.

Can you please help us? Thanks.

Regards,

Cedrick

  • Cedrick,

150C is the maximum of junction temperature. As long as the device doesn't heat up so much, the device should work normally. Please note that AM26LV32E is a quad receiver. In general receiver is made of digital buffers and drives light load like GPIO, therefore it is not power hungry. Given 109C/W JA thermal resistance, it takes about 600mW to let junction reach 150C with 85C ambient. This device's no-load Icc is 17mA max (60mW). You can estimate extra power based on the load in your application.

    Regards,
