SN65DSI83: Pin Delay for DSI & LVDS Lines in BGA Package

HI,

I am designing a MIPI-DSI to LVDS converter and using part SN65DSI83ZXHR.

As DSI & LVDS are high speed signals, I need to length match them.

So what is the difference in distance between D+/D- lines of a DSI/LVDS Signal line from FBGA Ball to die so that I can consider it in length matching.

Means what is the Pin delay in FBGA Package.

Hi,

You can treat the LVDS and DSI separately. For both the LVDS and the DSI, please keep lengths to within 5 mils of each other.

David Liu But he is asking for Pin delay of package. Means from silicon die to the BGA balls does DSI D+ and D- have equal length?

Hi,

You need only to match signals to the device pins, and do not need to take the skew in the package into account.
