Hi,

I would like to know where I can download the software tool to configure the TPS65987DDJ.

I downloaded the TPS6598x Application Customization Tool but I found that the supported device is the TPS65987DDH but not a TPS65987DDJ. Can I use this tool to configure a TPS65987DDJ?

Hello,

The TPS65987DDJ is device only intended for TBT3 applications following an intel reference design. All of the TPS65987DDJ reference collateral, such as the GUI tool, are hidden so that only those creating such TBT designs may access.

May I know the requirements of your device? We have a large number of other PD controllers that will be a better fit depending on your system requirements

Hi,

Thank for your reply. In fact, we just want to design a USB C charger that is compatible with USB PD3.0. The input voltage is 24VDC and the output voltage is 5V 9V 12V 15V or 20V (60W) depending on the device.

Hello,

Thank you for the additional information. If all you are wanting to do is supply 60W to a single Type-C port, then you can use the TPS65987D. This other design is a great starting point to refer to. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
