TCAN1043A-Q1: Does Moving to Silent Mode Clear the Tinactive timer

Hi Team,

If my CAN has a hardware pull up on nSTB and a pull down on EN will this prevent the tinactive timer from putting the CAN device to sleep after 3-5 minutes?

I believe this is the case looking at the state diagram, but wanted to confirm:

Hi David,

No, the SWE timer only halts when after a transition to Normal mode. Moving from Standby to Silent will not halt this timer so the device will still go to sleep after the timer expires.
