Hello,

I designed the schematic according to the DP83TC811EVM to realize 100BASE-T1 to 100BASE-TX conversion, the hardware configuration are as attached files.

If the default circuit could realize the conversion, not through MDC/MIDO port? But the RX_CLK has 2.5MHz output，RX_CLK has no output.

In addition, if the autonomous mode means it may not configure the registers without MSP430?

    Regarding your second question, yes you can operate the device without an MSP430 in autonomous mode. Configuration of the device can be done entirely through bootstraps as described in section 8.5.1 of the datasheet.

    Hi Kaitlyn, 

    Autonomous mode will not affect the conversion, it only affects the link up of the PHY after a power on reset (POR). In autonomous mode, the PHY automatically switches to normal operation after a POR, while in managed mode, it will only transition to normal state by register access (described in section 8.4.11.1).

    Nonetheless, the 100Base-T1 to 100Base-TX conversion can be done without an MSP430, by setting the mode of each PHY through bootstraps.
