TIC12400-Q1: TIC12400QDCPRQ1

Part Number: TIC12400-Q1

Dear Expert,

Please help me to check and confirm if this is normal with shorter pin (Images attached). This is for the part number TIC12400QDCPRQ1 - purchased from DigiKey

This is the case for many ICs (Around 2000pcs) Is this phenomenon normal? Why does this happen? Can you find relevant documentation to prove it? Can you confirm what is the reason why we encountered this shorter pin?

  • Isagani,

It's a bit hard for me to tell what the exact nature of the dissimilarity is here and whether it's within the standard tolerance you can find in our mechanical drawings. My guess from the image is that this pin is slightly bent, potentially from handling or other mechanical stress.

Is this the exact same on every part? Or do you mean to say that there is variance like this that can be found on random pins across the 2000 parts?

    Best,

    Danny
