TUSB4020BI: Enable/Disable Downstream Port by SMBus Host in TUSB4020BI

Part Number: TUSB4020BI

Hi,

I read through the data sheet (SLLSEI0C –JULY 2015–REVISED APRIL 2018) and tried to figure out if/how I could disable and re-enable a downstream port through SMBus host (a microcontroller).

But I couldn't see any registers providing such feature.

Is it feasible to disable and re-enable a downstream port through SMBus?

2nd question:

Is there a feature to put this IC (TUSB4020BI) into a lower power consumtion mode (either through SMBus, or other way) during the running time?

Thank you for the inputs in advance

David
