DP83867IR: Looking for help with DP83867IRPAPT

Part Number: DP83867IR

We used DP83867IRPAPT in the design of the prototype of the new FPGA board for thickness measurement system.

The problem is that currently this part is out-of-stock anywhere we look. We are facing a dilemma to change the design or wait for many months for this part.

We need a small quantity: 40 pcs to get going with first test run.

By the time we get into production (in 2023) the shortage will be over and we can use a significant amount of these chips...

I could not find anybody in TI to discuss this. I would expect that TI has a reserve stock as most other companies for this type of situations. Customer Service advised to post in the forum.

Hopefully TI engineers monitor this forum and either help with it or get me in touch with correct person.

I hope you will be able to get the response from the right person.

It was "mission impossible" for me - this is the reason I posted on the forum.... We got quick responses and help from many companies(Xilinx, Microchip, FTDI, Analog Devices, etc.) last year. But it seems that TI is unlike any other company. TI customer service actually told me that there are no sales people (I cannot believe it) - everything is sold online.

Anyways, it seems that you are our only hope to get any kind of help from TI.
