Hi, TI expert.

A customer has an inquiry about the connection between DS90UB935 and DS90UB936.

Q1) Is it possible to connect two Serializer DS90UB935 to a 2M / 60FPS camera sensor and use it as shown in the picture below?
(Excluding the higher version DS90UB954TRGZRQ1)

    Hello Grady,

    This scheme is not possible unless the imager itself has two independent CSI-2 interfaces. It is not possible from the D-PHY protocol standpoint to connect two receivers to one D-PHY port since this will cause problems with the D-PHY dynamic termination (and also probably introduce other SI issues as well). May I ask what is the reason for wanting this connection? Maybe we can propose an alternative solution to fit the system topology?
