I am using TPS25750S with external dual N-channel fet. I am programming the TPS25750S either using the GUI + EEPROM or using the ADC simple configurations.

I am not getting the correct gate drive voltages I expect. It seems the charge pump is not working. I am not seeing voltages on the gate pin (GATE_VBUS and GATE_VSYS) greater than the VBUS voltage.

Any reason for this?

I cannot find an example schematic for this part. The EVM uses the D version and the datasheet schematic is incomplete.

Please can you help me.

We have not released an EVM for the S variant of the TPS25750.

I can create a schematic based on another part for you that is correct, but it will take me a few days to do. I will publish a PDF for you by Monday next week.

Hi Chuck. Still no help from you. I think there is something wrong with the software. The TPS25750D (EVM) works with my charger (connect PPHV together) but not the TPS25750S. I can't see anything wrong with my hardware. Looking at the datasheet it seems the gate drivers are very sensitive and low current, could this be something to do with it?

I would really appreciate some help but I'm trying to pin the design down this week. Thank you
