Has anyone had the same problem? and resolved

  • Hello Roberto,

Could you please provide us more information about the issue scenario?

1.- Driver version and operating system that you are using.

2.- Also, could you send us the labview app that you are using and the reproduction steps in order to reproduce it at our end?

    Regards,

    Roberto.

  • Hi.

the driver version that i use in my own card is 11/01/2004,1.2.11.03 and my operating sytem is windows xp sp3

I was working with the development module ez430RF2500T and everything worked well including labview, but when I made my own card, this did not work with labview.

    3554.puertoserie sencillo 2.rar

I will send the most simple labview program for serial port, with that does not work, it simply sends the string "labview" and read this.

    Thank you

  • Hi.

I tried with the latest driver http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tusbwinvcp.html and it worked well in labview, but we are developing an aplication in c++ and this application doesn't work well, at this moment the programmer is trying with another library to manage the serial port. However, with the TI card everything works fine, we most recompile the driver with a function in particular?

    Thanks

  • Roberto,

The TUSB3410 VCP driver works as any common COM port, you don’t need to recompile the driver with any additional configuration or function in particular.

    Regards,

    Roberto.
