In TUSB4020BI Datasheet, I didn't fully get the principle of using an external EEPROM and how it's configured.
The DS says that when the hub sees that the EEPROM is not programmed, it enters a programming mode.
My question is, does that mean that the programming will be automatic and there is no need to externally flash this EEPROM by using external header?
also, what values are saved inside the EEPROM and how does that contribute to the functionality of the USB Hub?
