Customer ordered DP83867ISRGZR instead of actual part number is DP83867IRRGZT. They are using RGMII interface which is supported by both the devices. Is there any other difference (hardware or register map or any other..) between them that may prevent customer from using ordered samples?
Hi Prahlad,
DP83867IRRGZT and DP83867ISRGZR are hardware and register map compatible. You may use DP83867ISRGZR for RGMII application.
Please let me know if you need more details.

Hi Gokul,
Thanks for the comments. I want to just correct the question, issue is otherway. Actual part in design was DP83867ISRGZR and the samples ordered were DP83867IRRGZT. We are using RGMII interface. Can I use these two parts as alternates with firmware compatibility?
Hi Gourango,
Yes, DP83867IRRGZT and DP83867ISRGZR are firmware compatible for RGMII operation. However, SGMII compatibility and performance can't be guaranteed on DP83867IRRGZT.
