DP83869HM: SGMII to copper mode - termination resistor

Hi,

Are any termination resistors required for SGMII/SERDRS input or output?

In the datasheet, I didn't find any reference for EXTERNAL termination resistor but in the EVM schematic I do find these external termination resistors

Hi Eran,

Going through the datasheet, I see the DP83869HM has integrated termination.

Hi,

I asked about SGMII and not RGMII - these are two different input pins.

MDI are also not what I'm asking - MDI are the pins to RJ45 connector.

please help

Hi Eran,

I confirmed, termination resistors aren't needed for SGMII input, only thing that is needed is decoupling serial capacitors.
