Hello.

I am designing the USB PD Sink Part with reference to TIDA-050014.

A problem occurred while updating the firmware using Application Customization Tool 6.1.2.

I'm looking for the config tool for TPS65988DK and the TPS65987DDK. I was looking for something similar to the TPS65981_2_6_7_8 Application Customization Tool, or some more information on how to config the device.

May I know why do you want to use DK instead of DH?

Hi,

DH is difficult to purchase, so I designed with DK.

I didn't know there was a difference between DH and DK.

After testing with TIDA-050014, I designed the same circuit.

Hi, Adam will try to look in to your DH issue. Currently DK is not supported in this Tool.

Hello,

Unfortunately, the DK PD controller is only intended for use in USB4 device designs. If you are not following an Intel reference design implementing USB4/TBT4, then unfortunately at this time you must use the TPS65988. Apologies for the confusion
