I have been trying to solve this issue we are having with an integrated Webcam.
The issue is when the camera is plug into one of the ports, the camera shows up in device manager correctly (Windows). Shown in image below:
But when we are ready to use the webcam in any software, the webcam is not available to select. For example, here is a screenshot of Amcap:
The only thing available from the webcam is the microphones.
We had the supplier test this webcam on another USB2.0 hub and it work fine. The webcam also works fine on another USB3.0 hub I have.
The Hub IC works fine with any other devices I try, like flash drives, Mice, and keyboards.
Any ideas what could be the issue?
