MAX3232E: any spec. about receiver signal slew rate

HI, 

 there is a driver slew rate spec.  (6 ~ 30V/us) on sec.6.9. Is there any receiver slew rate limit spec.? now, 40~ 60V/us SR is at receiver pin, so any concern?

    Hi Alan,

    You are correct, driver slew rate is 6V/us ~ 30V/us. There is no receiver slew rate specification listed in the datasheet, nor is there characteristic data representing slew rate of the receiver output. You can base a single receiver slew rate off the application curve in section 9.2.3. loop back test. I estimated that ROUT slew rate was about 13.2 V / us.

    Are you saying that you are measuring a slew rate of 40V/us ~ 60V/us SR at input to the receiver? I don't think that is a problem unless the SR is causing lots of ringing causing bad data.
