TPS25750: How to configure TPS25750 using Arduino ..?

Hello TI,

I want configure TPS25750 using Arduino without using EEPROM, Arduino is host controller who control by BMS Configuration as per the application requirement.

In my BMS there is different part of TI like,

1. BQ25730

2. BQ28Z610-R1

3. LM62460

4. TPS552882

This all part selected as per the application requirement, because i am using all this TI pat that's why i selected TPS25750 but it's not look as straight forward, facing issue in configuration.

Please help me to resolve the issue ASAP, because it's taking to much time and i all ready freeze out all other feature.

Rahul,

The flow that you are looking for is documented in the TPS25750 Host Interface Technical Reference Manual. It utilizes the PBMx commands listed and a section shows the signla flow diagram.

Hello chuck,

I already trying to taking same follow up from another thread and it's almost spent 1months but not received anything, please try to push quickly.

Without any reference it's very difficult move forward fast, because i am new on TPS25750 and on PD controller.

I also discuss with business team, they dined for EEPROM integration because we already have raspberry and ATtiny on board.

After Exporting setting of TPS25750 GUI,

May i know shared file end application,
1. Are you a power source (provider) and a power sink (consumer)?
2. Are you a power sink (consumer) only?

The shared file can be imported into the WEB gui and allows me to look at the configuration that you are using.

Hello chuck,

For your reference i am sharing this application circuit, as per that i am expecting system will be power up on some default voltage level without host controller.

can TPS25750 support this application ..?, if yes, how i can configure or make required modification in my circuit design.

Rahul,

We have a part that will be releasing in Q4 that is a very good match for your diagram. The TPS25750 can match this feature set as long as you perform the eeprom boot from your MCU.

Hello Chuck,

It's working as per the above mention application, when i Configure ADCIN1 and 2 using in the always enable state but it gives only 5V
Can i Configure this at 20V by writing Tx_sink register and program PDOs as per the requirement ..?

Hello Chirag,

TPS25750 interfacing with host and configuration is straight forward by using https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuc05/slvuc05.pdf?ts=1646152376107&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FTPS25750 this document, i was facing issue to enable TPS25750 in default which is resolved by configuring ADCIN index.
