TPS65994AD: Minimum EEPROM size

Hi,

in chapter 8.3.10 the datasheet of TPS65996AD says: "The EEPROM should be at least kilo-bytes".

I assume that it should be 32 kilo-bytes like in the TPS65994AE datasheet.

Can you please confirm that it should mean 32 kB?

You will need an 1 MBIT EEPROM 32Kx8 page arrangement.

Hi Chuck,

The EVM is using a 256 kb I2C CMOS Serial EEPROM. Is there a reason for that?

I had an error in my statement. The 32Kx8 was correct, but that is actually a 256KBIT eeprom.

The configuration from the EVM and what is required is exactly as you said, 256 kb I2C CMOS Serial EEPROM, SOIC-8
