TPS25750EVM: Need help

Hi,

One of my customer is working on TPS25750 & they need support to configuring the device.

As of now they don’t have any eeprom attached to the IC in the EVM kit which results to leave out the IC unconfigured.

  • Is there any way to update the firmware or load the binary/patch file generated from respective driver ?
  • Sample program which helps them to configure the tps in default configuration ?

    They need to write the registers with some specified values at init time so that it would work with minimal default configuration.

  • Is there any specific sequence to read and write the registers ?

As they have't observed changes in the registers values through i2c dump upon changes in Event in pd controller.

Ex :- i2cget -f -y 1 0x20 0x1a :- 0x05 (always).

More over It would be really helpful if you could provide sample driver which fulfills the generic requirement of the PD controller.

    Mitesh,

    The part must be configured either through I2C or with an EEPROM, so we will need to get one of the two flows working.

    We have a flow called the PBM flow that will allow the customer to configure the TPS25750. 

    I do not currently have sample code, but we are working to get a code release that can show the customer how to boot the part.  I will work this week to get you a release date for when we will update our documentation..
