DS100MB203: DS100MB203 can not work

Hi, TI Team

    I have some questions  about DS100MB203 with your help.I design an Ethernet switch production that it supports 10G serdes signal switch via  DS100MB203. IF the pin of SEL  is seted to low, and the channel fo DS100MB203 change to fiber ,the production can operate normally.But it can not work when DS100MB203 choose the channel fo RTL8261(RTL8261 is a chip of 10G copper phy）.

Hardware check：

1、the SEL pin has been set to high when DS100MB203 choose the channel of RTL8261;

2、the channel of  RTL8261 between  RJ45  has Checked ok with register of RTL8261;

NOW  The reason why 10 copper couldn't work is that the Channel disconnect between DS100MB203 and RTL8261? 

Please help me check whether there is any problem with the hardware configuration，and give me some ideas to sovle this problem,thankyou

    Hi,

    Do you have the capability to measure eye diagrams anywhere in this system?  Also, is there any link training being used in this system?

    Your implementation of this device looks correct.  You are also correct that setting SEL high, then the RTL8261 connection should work as well.
