TCAN1057A-Q1: Difference between TCAN1057A and TCAN1057AV

Hello TI experts,

My customer considers these 2 parts, TCAN1057A and TCAN1057AV.

they share same datasheet, but it is something unclear about the difference.

- TCAN1057A has 4.5V~5.5V Vcc, and Vio is the same as Vcc.

- TCAN1057AV has 4.5V~5.5V Vcc, but Vio is 1.7V~5.5V.

or TCAN1057AV has 1.7V~5.5V both Vcc and Vio?

what is other differences between these 2 parts?

The only difference is that the "V" devices have a level shifter for the I/O signals. Devices without "V" use V_CC for the I/Os.

As shown in the recommended operating conditions table, V_CC must be 5 V, while V_IO can go down to 1.7 V. See figure 9-6 for an example.
