SN65DSI84: no picture in channel B

Can you please share the panel spec? 

Have you used the DSI Tuner to generate the DSI84 register programming values? sorry to not be more specific. I'm using linux driver for bridge and have output from CPU  when display connected on channel A (disp 1). Is generally with this bridge possible to output only on channel B (on channel A we can have different display like on channel B but not simultaneously). In datasheet I see in table 7.3

so it is even possible to setup it like that? Thanks.

Hi,

In this case you would need to use the DSI85 instead the DSI84. You can input video stream input on DSI Channel B and output to SingleLink LVDS on Channel B.

just out of curiosity what dsi84 is doing in dual mode? I'm not sure I understand in datasheet what is odd and even pixels send to channel A and channel B output. Then I connect 2x displays and they act as one or? Thanks.

Hi,

Odd is the first pixel while the even is the second pixel. If you want to support 2 displays with the DSI84 then you need to modify how the DSI source presents data to the DSI84. Namely, you will need to modify it so that one video stream is the odd pixels (since odd pixels are output on CHA) and the other video stream is the even pixels (since even pixels are output on CHB).
