Hi,

One of my customer wants to use DP83848 for their project, they have raised queries regarding the magnetics selection. Pls. help & confirm if magnetics selected by customer will work or not.

Customer has selected below magnetics.

Pls. confirm if this magnetics will work or not? Also want to know that what should be the connection for center tap terminal? ground or +VCC?

    Hi Mitesh, 

    This should work since the return loss, differential to common mode rejection, and crosstalk values are all lower than what we require in the datasheet. 

    The center tap terminal should be pulled high, as shown in Figure 7-2 of the datasheet.
