TPS25750: USB data transfer

Hi team,

There is a description in TPS25750 datasheet: The TPS25750 is a stand-alone Type-C PD controller for power-only USB-PD applications

So only power delivery could be achieved in TPS25750, the USB data transfer is not supportable for this part ?

If I want both power delivery and usb type c data transfer, which part will be the most simple solution?

Hello,

The TPS25750 can be use for USB3 data speeds, but cannot be used for alternate mode negotiation like DisplayPort. The TPS25750 does not have any impact on the USB lines so you can have both USB2 and USB3 data with the TPS25750
