Hi team,

Our customer is looking into the different packages of TCAN1043A-Q1/TCAN1146-Q1.

Would you confirm if there is any difference in noise performance between SOT/SOIC/VSON packages of TCAN1043A-Q1/TCAN1146-Q1?

    Hi Muwei,

    A lot of the EMI conformance testing we conduct with our CAN devices are package-dependant, so each device needs to be qualified in every package it supports. For both of these devices, all package variants have been tested  and passed these relevant EMC tests. From the data I've looked at on this, There are some marginal differences at lower frequencies, but nothing significant enough to remark on. If the customer would like to take a look themselves, the Zwickau reports are a good graphical representations and relatively easy to follow. These tests are available for each package type and can be found on our internal sharepoint. Let me know if you need help finding these.
