Is it possible that the LOCK is pulled low when the chip is working on normal situation?

    Hi Kevin, 

    It is possible to have a somewhat marginal link to where an occasional lock loss either due to temperature drift, cable degradation, or other environmental factors causes a temporary loss of lock. 

    The MAP tool can be used to see how much link margin exists in a design given a specific cable length/type, PCB layout, etc.
