There is a good new that we could DIN TI product!

Customer is looking for our SerDes solution .

1. Please help suggest TI solution, THX

2. DS90UB947-Q1 & 948 is good solution?

Please refer to below spec:

Thanks for reaching out. What exactly is the question here? Are you asking if the 947/948 can support dual OLDI (based on the snapshot)? Which side is customer designing? SER side?

Client wish to use TDA2Sax to design side mirror project,

Client need confirm SoC to monitor FPD Link solution,

Monitor is dual LVDS interface(1920x720), Client think DS90UB948 can use, but Client cannot view any TDA2x side serializer IC can use,

It seems to need to go through two transfer ICs to do it,

1.Do TI have TDA2 side (RGB) to FPD LINK solution directly?

2.The second question, FPD LINK requires one or two pairs for transmission?

Hi Kygo,

Is customer stuck with using the RGB output, does TDA2 have any other output interfaces? From FPD-Link side, we do not have an RGB Serializer able to do 1920x1080p over two lane FPD-Link.

This depends on the PCLK of the display. FPD-Link rate is 35xPCLK rate. If PCLK is low enough, it can be sent over single FPD-Link III lane while staying under max FPD-Link rate; otherwise dual FPD-Link III mode is required, where total PCLK is divided by two and sent over each lane.

In case of 1920x1080p, 2 lanes are required.

If our monitor resolution is 1920x720, do we need two pairs of FPD Link connections?
