Hi Team,

Customer is consulting whether they can add 1kohm resistor to GND when RN2 pin is unused? In my understanding, it should be fine. Thanks.

This is allowed. The resistor would be in parallel with the internal resistor; you could just as well connect RIN2 directly to GND.

Hi Stanley,

I agree with Clemens. The 1k resistor would be in parallel with the internal 5k resistor. You can connect RIN2 to GND, or you can leave it floating.
