TPS65988DK: PD pass through

Does TPS65988DK already have FW can support this function?

I will have to check and get back to you with respect to this.

Please refer to below, my customer wants to check TPS65988 can support PD pass through on Intel Hoover Ridge.

The application likes docking station, Input power is PD 20V/5A. Maybe can set PD output to 100W(20V*5A)- docking station power dissipation = PD output power by TPS65988 itself.

When you say PD pass-through. You mean if one port sinks power the other port would sources the power (reducing the power in loss and housekeeping)

Yes we could sink power though one port and source power to the other port (condition: not in dead battery mode). If we would need power budgeting or control port power intelligently then we would require an embedded controller.
