COM-HPC Carrier Design Guide has USB4(Fig 1 of 6 on page 76-80) and it includes following device.

・TPD6S300

・TPS65994AD

・JHL8040R(Intel)：Thunderbolt 4 retimer

Do you have reference design of USB4 based on COM-HPC Design Guide?

USB4(PD, interface, etc) is so complicated that I'd like to imitate the reference design and develop it.

Hello,

Unfortunately no we do not have any reference design of USB4 based on COM-HPC Design Guide. I you are wanting to implement USB4, my recommendation is to follow the Intel reference design which also uses the TPS65994AD. We only grant full access to the TPS65994AD for those that are following the Intel USB4 reference design.

As you mentioned in your original messaged USB4(PD, interface, etc) is very complicated, so we only give full access to our USB4 PD controller to individuals that are following an Intel reference design. For those that are not implementing USB4, we have other more suitable devices that are better equipped for their system.
