Hi Team,

Is the only difference between the DS90UH949A -Q1 and DS90UH949-Q1 the resolution and that the 949A supports both STP and STQ?

Any other differences to keep in mind?

Also want to verify that 949A backward compatible to support lower resolution such as 1080p, 720p, 520p, etc?
Similarly 949 for lower resolution such as 720p, 520p?

Hello Delaney,

Yes, both devices support Coax and STP.

And yes, the only difference is the max. supported TMDS Frequency.

The min supported frequency is identical, so yes, both can support the lower frequencies.

So both the 949 and 949A support STP and STQ? I did not see STQ in the 949 datasheet so just want to double check.

STP and STQ are the same thing, just the connector is different.
