Hi HSSC team,
A key architect at Lab126 has requested a schematic review on the HD3SS3202 and TS3USB221 devices as per the attached. There are also additional questions as per below and would appreciate your feedback on the questions and designs.
- What is maximum peak current in both parts?
- I am connecting two USB3.0 switches together – because I have a Type C connector which requires the switch, and a second connector which I need to select to route to. Have you seen this done? With careful routing will I be OK or will this be too much insertion loss from part?
- Do I need to add series capacitors on TX/RX between the switches? I did not add them between in my schematic right now
